		<description>Thank you for a very clear and cogent summation of the SFO principles. I wish more managers would read this and take it to heart. It does NOT suffice to implement the tool; this is a complete management philosophy that includes placing a value on the regular monitoring and evaluation of progress toward achieving strategic goals, not just the quarterly numbers. The emphasis on communicating the strategy to everyone who needs to perform against it is also vital and all the more relevant because increasingly it is people&#039;s creativity in achieving outcomes that companies are buying, not mechanistic inputs into standardised processes. The better the employees understand what they are trying to achieve, the more enjoyment and creativity they will bring to that process. Well, I could ramble on; suffice it to say I enjoyed your blog.</description>
