Tenacious Blog News and Notes – 25 June 2009

A quick update for readers and subscribers to the Tenacious Blog.

New Contributor

I am excited to tell you that tomorrow’s post will be a milestone in the young life of the Tenacious Blog. My friend and colleague Heather Stagl has agreed to contribute her first  – of what I expect will be many – insightful blog posts.

Heather is the proprietor of Enclaria, LLC, an Atlanta-based executive coaching and consulting firm. She is a bright, talented, articulate professional with her own experience and insights into organizational change, communication, and executive coaching. I was fortunate to meet and work with Heather during our tenure at Balanced Scorecard Collaborative / Palladium, and am delighted at this opportunity to continue our collaboration. She is both a business owner and a mom, and one of the hardest working people I know.

Despite early appearances, it has always been my plan to have multiple contributors to the Tenacious Blog. During my consulting career, I’ve had the privilege to work with many extraordinary people; as colleagues and clients. There are many more voices that should be heard. My aim is to present a diversity of perspectives and insights into the challenge of organizational change, and to foster a vibrant dialog between the blog’s contributors and readers.

I hope you’ll welcome Heather with your comments and e-mails.

Good News and Bad News

The good news is that in the space of little more than a month, visitor traffic to the Tenacious Tortoise web site and the Tenacious Blog has grown dramatically. There are now regular visitors from dozens of countries from all six continents. I am gratified and humbled that you are visiting and returning in ever-increasing numbers.

The not so good news is that we’ve yet to have a sustained stream of comments on the posts. Some of the topics, such as the two-part Vertical and Horizontal Dimensions posts have been especially popular, but it is a bit perplexing that there aren’t more comments.

You and your comments are an important part of the value of this forum. Please share your own insights and experiences with everyone else who is visiting. Your input will help us to shape future content. Thanks.

Blogging Novice Exposed

To my chagrin, I discovered that this morning’s post, The Facilitator’s Toolkit: Capturing the Change Agenda went up with a broken link that was subsequently broadcast to the RSS feeds, and Tenacious Tortoise’s Twitter and Facebook presences. I’ve fixed the error on the site, but if you are subscribing via RSS, you may still have a broken link. Please click here to read the latest post. My apologies to all those inconvenienced.
